Too much TV = Attention Issues for Kids
Researchers interested in the effects of television viewing on young children over time found that watching TV in early childhood is associated with attention issues when those children reach school age. Children’s brains are in a rapid state of development during the first three years of life. Experiences that children have during this time can have a profound effect on the wiring of their brains.

Real world play and interactions with caring adults set children up for success later in life. The National Institute on Media and the Family recommends that parents exercise caution in use of television with young children and limit a young child’s exposure to electronic screens.
