Do baby videos make your child smarter?
Many of today’s new parents are plopping their youngest kids down in front of the TV screen in hopes that videos like Baby Einstein will help their babies take the first steps towards ivy league success down the road. While the prospect of this being true is enticing, the latest research finds that these products may do more harm than good.

Two researchers from the University of Washington found that for every hour per day watching baby TV and videos, infants learned 6-8 fewer vocabulary words than babies who never watched videos.
